Tree!

Stretching high into the 30-foot ceilings of this former church, this mysterious tree lives where once was a pipe organ. Come and explore the nooks and crannies provided in this definitively kid-forward space, and play some I-Spy! Birds and bugs are placed among the branches, and strange and wonderful textures create a knotted, woody appearance to the bark and roots. It's a charming, slightly spooky place for pretend play, nature exploration, and intimate programming. 

The Children's Discovery Museum was seeking an impressive tree structure, building a new foundation for the future of the museum's forest gallery. We developed this piece to be big, tall, and striking, while leaving ample opportunities for creative additions, allowing this old tree to keep "growing" along with this dynamic museum.
