Yellow Sticky Note that reads "Evan Tvrdik, The Technical One"

Evan Tvrdik comes from a focused background in aerospace engineering. He studied at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he specialized in structural analysis. From there, he has gained experience in several engineering firms in the US and Canada including Pratt & Whitney, Gulfstream, and Latécoère Services. After two and a half years as Technical Director at 42|Design Fab in Indian Orchard, MA, it was time to launch his own studio.

Evan will work closely with you to help your project turn from a concept to a strong and durable piece that will keep your visitors engaged and safe for years. Evan handles structural design, taking into consideration the intense durability requirements necessary for museum environments. Detail design, fabrication in wood, metal and plastic, and electromechanical details are also his specialty.

After two and a half years as a project manager, exhibit designer and fabricator at 42|Design Fab in Indian Orchard, MA, it was time to launch her own studio.

Terra will work closely with you to keep your project focused as it moves through the entire process of design/build. Terra handles conceptual design, taking into consideration your visitors' demographics and unique needs. Sculptural elements, graphic design, and painting are also in her wheelhouse.

Carson Blakely
Carson Blakely joined the Panoptic Team in 2025. They got their start working at their hometown children's museum before transitioning to outdoor education and working at summer camp. After ten years in the non-profit industry, Carson went back to school and is now studying Optical and Electrical Engineering.

Carson works behind the scenes as the office manager, mostly doing whatever Evan and Terra tell them to do. It is unlikely you'll ever see them, but they get their satisfaction by putting together your invoices and sometimes playing with a chop saw. They love being a part of Panoptic Design Build and learning all about such a unique industry.

Nate Gagnon

Nate Gagnon comes from a hands-on background in museum education, where he spent 9 years designing and facilitating experiences for visitors of all ages at the CT Science Center. Working directly with children and families gave him a deep appreciation for how little learners actually engage with the world around them, and a conviction that the best learning is playful and doesn't feel like learning at all. That passion for fun, meaningful experiences is what drew him to the build side of museum work at Panoptic.

Nate will bring both a maker's skill set and an educator's eye to your project. Having worked with children across all age groups, he understands what keeps attention, sparks curiosity, and holds up to enthusiastic little hands. Electronics, woodworking, and interactive elements are his tools of the trade.  What he loves most is the challenge of building something that has never quite existed before. Whether that means tackling a brand new concept, or finding a fresh and unexpected way to deliver an idea that feels truly specific to your institution and your visitors.

Dan Willig

Dan Willig brings a blend of experience from a studio and fabrication background to the team. With a BFA in Sculpture and an MFA in Studio Art, Dan’s career has spanned from serving as an Adjunct Professor to collaborating with artists on commissions, and solo exhibitions. He seamlessly weaves his background in fine arts with professional carpentry and fabrication to bring interactive museum projects to life.

Dan is driven by the entire creative arc—from the first sketch to the final installation—and finds deep satisfaction in exploring various designs to create meaningful, eye-catching pieces. A lifelong learner, he is constantly adding new technical skills to his toolkit, ensuring that every project is not only aesthetically striking but also robust and built to last. For Dan, the most rewarding part of the work is seeing a complex idea evolve into a finished piece that invites public engagement.
