Watershed Puck Drop

The Watershed Puck Drop is a complex journey through the watershed of the Hudson River from the perspective of a drop of water, working it's way through the water cycle among various obstacles; animals drinking, industry, dams, agriculture... whether you make it back to the underground aquifer, or get evaporated before you can reach it, your experience is full of twists and turns. 

The exhibit features puck launchers, hidden switches, packinka-style randomizers, and sliders that can change the course of a small wooden disc. Interpretation along the journey provides interesting factoids about various threats and supports for a healthy watershed.
